Rita Jackson represents everything World In Chicago stands for—bringing the city's artistic spirit to audiences around the world. The Chicago-born hip hop artist recently stopped by our studio to discuss her upcoming album Lost Time, set to release this month. Over the past decade, Rita has carved out an impressive career that started with underground hip hop collective All Natural, Inc., and has since evolved into a decade of solo recordings and international tours.

Her new single "The Dough," released in January 2022, signals the start of another worldwide journey. Rita has developed a devoted following in France over several European visits, and this tour marks her return for an extensive 8-week run with French music collective C2C. The tour launches in Montpellier, France, before continuing through the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany.
